FINANCIAL LITERACY FOR ENTREPRENEURS
CPA Canada (formerly CA Canada) has developed a comprehensive program to elevate the financial literacy of Canadians in all walks of life.
I am an active volunteer presenter in the Entrepreneur and Small Business Owner modules of the program. Between them, these two modules have ten 60 minute sessions covering financial and business topics that cover most of the key concepts that a small business owner must master if he/she is to be successful.
I have volunteered because of a personal interest in helping entrepreneurs and by participating I will learn something myself and I will have an opportunity to hear directly from small business owners about their concerns and needs.
These presentations are always given on a no fee basis and are usually arranged through some type of business or other organization. If you are involved in a business or related group that you believe could benefit from attending the Financial Literacy program, please contact me (click on CONTACT), and I’ll explain more about the small business/entrepreneur sessions. I would enjoy learning together with you about small business finances.
Those of you involved with the not-for-profit sector, take note that many of the sessions are applicable to your circumstances.
If you want to learn more about the program click on CPA CANADA, and you will be directed to their Community Connect website.
